Over the last three Decembers a number of coaches and business owners have participated in the Inner Biz Leader Virtual Business Planning Retreat. 2012 Virtual BIzPlanning Retreat - Thurs Dec 22nd

I'm looking forward to spending the day with many of you virtually on Thursday December 22nd. From 10-4 pm Eastern that day I will be running the 2012 BizSuccess Virtual Business Planning Retreat. The program is geared for coaches, trainers, consultants and other service based professionals who are wanting to grow their business next year. I'll be bringing in some of the best tools from the 90 Day BizSuccess program to support you in creating a great foundational plan for the new year.

Throughout the six hour program, we will be meeting as a group each hour for approximately 15 minutes by phone to explore some key issues for our 2012 business plans. The rest of the hour will be spent offline at our own homes or offices working through a series of structured business planning exercises.

The focus of the day is on giving you the time and space to FOCUS on planning, and also take ACTION, on key areas for your business success.

Each registrant receives a Virtual Retreat Manual complete with exercises for the day, as well as templates for you to take forward with your own plans for 2012. I will hold a pre-program 1-1 call with each one of you prior to the start of the program, and will be available for individual business coaching throughout the 6 hour day as part of your registration. We'll also set a date to meet in early January to see how our plans and action are evolving for a short 30 min group coaching call.

Group Program Development Virtual Retreat (By Phone)
Friday June 3 and 10, 2011 (1-4pm Eastern/New York) both afternoons
Geared for coaches, trainers and others who are looking to develop their own group program (workshop, retreat, teleseminar or group coaching program), this program takes you through a structured series of exercises to move you from program idea to reality over the 6 hours. Each hour we spend 15 minutes by phone as a group, with the remaining time spent working offline on exercises related to the design, marketing and implementation of your own group program. The program includes a Virtual Retreat Manual (which includes all the exercises along with more than a dozen tools/templates), group calls each hour, a group follow up call, and access to me for 1-1 conversation at points throughout the retreat. January 2010 Group Coaching Training Classes

The Group Coaching Essentials program turns 5 in January. This ICF Accredited program is eligible for 6.25 hours of Continuing Coach Education Units for ACC, PCC, and MCC coaches who are needing CCEs for recertifcation.

The Group Coaching Essentials program is a hands on program structured to support coaches on the design, marketing and implementation of their own group coaching programs. The program includes 5 x 75 minute calls, an 80 page manual and pre and post course 1-1s with me.

Thanks for Joining Me for the 6th Annual Year End Programs Call

I would like to thank all of you who joined me on Friday for my 6th Annual Year End Group Program call. We had a great representation of coaches from across North America on the call, and I had several RSVPs from coaches from Asia and Europe who could not join us. Every year at this time I hold the call for coaches, trainers and HR professionals who are leading great workshops, retreats and group coaching with clients around the world.

I hope to make the call recording available in the near future as we covered quite a bit of ground. The call included :

- Seven Reminders of core essential practices for group programs;
- Taking stock of your own work - questions to reflect on and take forward into 2010.

I look forward to continuing to serve you into 2010, and to speaking with many of you in my current year end programs and virtual retreats which are wrapping up in the next few days. Leveraging the Power of Our Relationships

Just a quick note to those of you who are here in the Toronto area on Wednesday evening, April 16th. I hope that you will consider joining me at this month's International Coach Federation GTA Chapter meeting where I will be leading an interactive evening presentation with fellow ORSC coach Jennifer Miller. Jennifer and I will be delivering an experiential evening on Wednesday evening entitled "Leveraging the Power of Our Relationships".

We are always in relationship with others. Success in navigating and leveraging our relationships may mean the difference between good and great.

We'll be drawing on a really exciting hybrid of tools for you to explore your current business relationships, create a new one in the TO coaching community, while gaining some new tools for your work with group or individual clients. We'll be drawing on the amazing work of thought leaders such as Keith Ferrazzi, Jim Collins, experiential education and the Center for Right Relationship.

Creating Time to Plan

Did you know that for every 10 minutes of planning you can save 1 hour of unfocussed effort? How often do you spend time on a weekly, or daily, basis making a list of what you need to get done and what's a priority?

As business owners it is pretty easy to get swamped by the juggling of multiple contracts and clients, and planning falls by the wayside. And what's the cost? To you? Your business?

New Group Program Virtual Retreat Date - Thurs May 10/07

When is the last time you had a structure and six-hours to dedicate towards your own group program development and marketing? Are you planning an upcoming retreat, group coaching program or workshop?

I'm excited to announce a new group program creativity virtual retreat date for Thursday May 10th from 10 - 4pm (EST). I've added this date in response to the interest shown in tomorrow's group program creativity virtual retreat, which a number of coaches could not attend.

This six-hour virtual retreat (held by phone) is for coaches, trainers and other group facilitators who are wanting to move forward with their own group program work. The purpose of the day is to hold the space for creativity, design and discussion. I have been leading these virtual retreats since last July and have seen amazing results emerge for participants.

Past participants have achieved the following during the creativity virtual retreat day:
* Created the skeleton of their group program– including venue, topics, exercises, audience
* Venue identified and booked
* Exercises to be used during the program researched and selected
* Marketing approaches identified and marketing copy drafted
